Refund Policy
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms and conditions under which KITEFIT (“we,” “us,” or “our”) issues refunds for bookings, products, and services purchased through our website or otherwise arranged by us (“Services”).
2. SCOPE
2.1. This Policy applies to all payments made by you, the customer (“you,” “your”), for Lessons, Camps, Gear Rentals, Merchandise, Digital Products, and related Fees offered by KITEFIT.
3. DEFINITIONS
3.1. “Booking” means a reservation for instruction, camp attendance, equipment rental, or similar services.
3.2. “Product” means any physical or digital item sold by KITEFIT (e.g., apparel, accessories, e-guides).
3.3. “Service Fees” include any non-refundable administrative or processing charges.
4. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
4.1. Lessons & Camps

Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date.

50% Refund: Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to the start date (50% cancellation fee applies).

No Refund: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date, no-shows, or early departures.
4.2. Gear Rentals

Full Refund: Cancellations at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up.

50% Refund: Cancellations between 24 and 47 hours before pick-up.

No Refund: Cancellations within 24 hours of pick-up or failure to collect equipment.
4.3. Products & Merchandise

Physical Goods: Eligible for return and refund within 30 days of delivery if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Digital Goods: Non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, unless defective.
4.4. Service Fees

All administrative, transaction, and processing fees are non-refundable.
5. EXCEPTIONS & FORCE MAJEURE
5.1. In the event of cancellations by KITEFIT due to weather, safety concerns, or other force majeure events, you will be offered the choice of:

A full refund of all monies paid; or
-
A credit toward rescheduled Services of equal value.
5.2. Partial attendance due to inclement weather or personal emergency will not entitle you to a pro-rata refund unless otherwise approved in writing by KITEFIT management.
6. REFUND PROCESS
6.1. To request a refund, please submit:

Your full name;

Booking or order reference number;

Date of purchase or scheduled service; and

Reason for cancellation or refund request.

6.3. KITEFIT will acknowledge receipt of your request within five (5) business days and will process any approved refund within fourteen (14) business days of approval.
7. TIMING OF REFUNDS
7.1. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
7.2. Banking and payment processor timelines may vary; please allow up to thirty (30) calendar days for the refund to appear on your statement.
8. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS & FEES
8.1. Any discounts, promotional credits, or vouchers used toward a purchase are non-refundable and will be forfeited if a refund is approved.
8.2. Gift cards and store credit are non-refundable.
9. DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
9.1. If you believe an error has occurred or you have not received your refund, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback.
9.2. Chargebacks that are subsequently resolved in your favor may still incur administrative fees, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
10. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
10.1. We may update this Policy at our discretion. Revisions will be effective upon posting with a new “Effective Date.”
10.2. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
